TBIG Promotes Healthy Lifestyle, Consumption, and Sanitation Education to the Community
Jakarta, July 3, 2025 - PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) continues to improve the quality of its Corporate Social Responsibility programs through innovative program implementation. The Mobile Clinic Program, which previously focused on providing access to healthcare services for the community, now also serves as an educational platform for the community on health, sanitation, and healthy eating themes.
This educational program aims to enhance the community's literacy regarding personal, family, and environmental health, as well as provide practical and applicable solutions that can be implemented in daily life. Among these are household waste management, the creation and application of biopores, training in creating healthy, affordable, and nutritious meal plans, as well as personal and family hygiene training.
Recently, TBIG conducted training on household waste management and the creation and application of biopores for communities in four RTs within RW 02 of Gembor Village, Priuk Subdistrict, Tangerang City. During the training conducted in early July, the community received education and training on how to install biopores and utilize them to process household waste into fertilizer to enrich plants, as well as to improve water absorption into the soil.
“Here, flooding during the rainy season is still common. With these biopores, we hope to see improvements in flood management in our area,” explained RT 02 Chairman Somad.
Lie Si An, Chief of Business Support Officer at TBIG, stated that community literacy regarding environmental health needs to be improved. “The impact we aim to achieve through the mobile clinic program is to enhance community literacy in terms of health and environmental cleanliness. Biopore holes serve as an environmentally friendly alternative that is highly relevant for areas like Gembor, which are prone to flooding. This initiative not only provides education but also tangible action in collaboration with the community.”
“Through the MONIK health education program innovation, we aim to ensure that TBIG’s contributions are not merely temporary but capable of leaving a long-term impact. The creation of biopores is a concrete step we take to support environmental resilience while also promoting community health,” he emphasized.
TBIG President Director Herman Setya Budi also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to creating sustainable social impact. “As a company that grows alongside the community, we believe that sustainability begins with fundamental things like healthy lifestyles and proper sanitation. The MONIK program is a tangible manifestation of TBIG's commitment to building a healthier, more resilient, and environmentally conscious community. We want TBIG's presence to be felt directly and positively within the community."
The new MONIK format is also designed to involve more community elements, from health centers, religious leaders, village heads, to PKK and Posyandu activists. Starting in August 2025, TBIG plans to implement health education programs and distribute nutritious food in 80 locations in Indonesia's 3T (underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost) regions. To ensure the smooth and effective implementation of the Health Pillar program, TBIG has partnered with Filantra as its implementation partner.
