TBIG's Innovation in Public Health Education Enhancing the Impact of CSR Program Implementation
Jakarta, June 17, 2025 - PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) has introduced the latest innovation in its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in the field of public health through a new format for health education simulations using the Mobil Klinik (MONIK) model, focusing on Healthy Lifestyle, Healthy Consumption, and Healthy Sanitation (3P). The simulation, conducted at three locations in West Java, Banten, and Central Java, aims to analyze the effectiveness of this new format when applied to the community.
The new MONIK health education format emphasizes a more interactive and contextual approach. For example, in the Healthy Consumption Patterns module, residents are trained to utilize local food resources to improve family nutrition intake. Meanwhile, the Healthy Sanitation Practices material discusses the importance of environmental cleanliness and improvements to basic infrastructure.
In addition to focusing on educational content, the new MONIK TBIG health education format also places greater emphasis on community involvement. The implementation of this new format will be collaboratively carried out with health centers, village heads, PKK activists, Posyandu, and local religious leaders.
This simulation has been conducted in three regions—West Java, Banten, and Central Java—as an initial step before the national launch. The first activity was held in Rancaiga Village, Cipayung Village, Cikarang Timur Subdistrict, Bekasi Regency, attended by over 100 residents, mostly women.
Local village head Agus Waluyo stated that such training is highly beneficial for the village’s health improvement programs. “Our area still faces challenges in the health sector. Flooding occurs here every year, sir. Through this training, we can enhance residents’ awareness and understanding of maintaining cleanliness here,” he explained during the event.
Chief of Business Support Officer TBIG, Lie Si An, explained that the implementation of this new format is aimed at ensuring the smooth implementation of health education programs. “We believe that simulations are necessary to ensure the smoothness and effectiveness of implementation. In addition to the innovative implementation format that emphasizes aspects of healthy lifestyle, consumption patterns, and sanitation, this new format provides greater opportunities for community involvement. The collaboration will be even stronger," he explained.
Lie Si An explained that the new format will begin to be implemented in August. He further explained that TBIG has scheduled health education and nutritious food assistance activities at 80 points in the 3T region. “This simulation is carried out so that the program is more effective and in line with the environmental conditions in various regions in Indonesia.”
Meanwhile, TBIG President Director Herman Setya Budi emphasized that innovations in CSR programs must always prioritize the real needs of the community. “TBIG is committed to making a tangible contribution to society, not only through telecommunications infrastructure but also through social approaches that have a direct impact. The MONIK initiative with this new format is a concrete example of how we continue to innovate so that CSR is not merely symbolic but truly felt in its benefits,” said Herman.
In its implementation, TBIG has partnered with Filantra as a strategic partner to ensure the sustainability and effectiveness of the program. This step strengthens TBIG’s commitment to supporting sustainable development and improving the quality of life of the community through a CSR approach that has a real impact.
