A Tangible Form of Support to the Government and the Community Against the Covid-19 Pandemic, TBIG Again Donated Ventilators and PPE in Bogor City
Bogor, July 20, 2020 – The spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia continues to increase, as a form of PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk ("TBIG") commitment in helping the government and the community, especially the city of Bogor, West Java, TBIG will again distribute donations in the form of ventilators and a number of PPE that will be given to the Bogor City Government. Previously, TBIG had also distributed assistance in the form of ventilators, medical masks, disposable gloves, hazmat suits, forehead thermometers and others to several regions such as Bali, Semarang, Surabaya, Tangerang and Central Java, some time ago. In addition, basic food assistance and masks were also distributed to affected communities to various regions, especially TBIG operational locations.
The donation in the form of ventilators and PPE such as disposable gloves and hazmat suits was symbolically given to the Bogor City Government by TBIG representatives represented by Area Operation Div Head – 2 TBIG, Hafidz Azhari and Regional Operation Maintenance Dept. Head – Jabo, Zaenal Aripin and Yakup Khan which was received by the Mayor of Bogor, Mr. Bima Arya Sugiarto.
This donation is part of TBIG's CSR program with the theme "Together We Share" which aims to ease the burden on residents and hospitals facing the Covid-19 pandemic disaster and has been carried out some time ago in several regions through the city government which will later be distributed to medical personnel and several hospitals in their respective regions.
Area Operation Div Head – 2 TBIG, Hafidz Azhari revealed that this social activity is also the obligation of TBIG and all elements of the nation to support all government efforts during the pandemic to combat Covid-19. "As part of the elements of the nation, TBIG feels called to help the government fight the Covid-19 virus, especially in helping to provide ventilators and PPE which are expected to help the government, especially hospitals and medical personnel on the front lines to jointly fight Covid-19," he explained.
Regional Operation Maintenance Dept. Head – Jabo Inner, Zaenal Aripin added, "This donation is one of TBIG's many CSR activities, especially the "Bersama Kita Berbagi" program which has been carried out several times since the Covid-19 pandemic was detected in Indonesia. "This is a form of TBIG's seriousness and commitment to support the government's programs and efforts to accelerate the control of Covid-19 in the country," said Regional Operation Maintenance Dept. Head – Jabo Outer, Yakup Khan. On the other hand, the Bogor City Government appreciates the donation activities carried out by TBIG and expressed gratitude for TBIG's concern where the donation of ventilators and PPE is very beneficial for Covid-19 mitigation efforts in Bogor City.
