ITDC NU and TBIG Sign Agreement on ICT Infrastructure Implementation at The Nusa Dua
The Nusa Dua, Bali, 13 October 2021 – PT ITDC Nusantara Utilitas (ITDC NU), a subsidiary of PT Pengembangan Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) or Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), specializing in utility management in tourism areas, continues to enhance the utility services in The Nusa Dua, Bali, managed by ITDC. Today, ITDC NU and PT Tower Bersama, part of the Tower Bersama Group (TBIG), signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) for the Provision, Development, and Implementation of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Infrastructure in The Nusa Dua area.
TBIG, a company with expertise in the development and operation of Neutral ICT Infrastructure supporting 4G/5G signal coverage, IoT, and other digital solutions, is optimistic about contributing to this collaboration. This initiative aims to provide seamless communication solutions, particularly during the pandemic, supporting the government's "Work From Bali" (WFB) program through the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy. This program is launched in phases to accelerate the recovery of Bali’s tourism and creative economy sector. The digital nomad trend necessitates the provision of reliable data and internet availability, along with facilities that simplify activities for digital nomads within ITDC’s smart cluster in The Nusa Dua.
The signing ceremony was held at Wantilan ITDC in The Nusa Dua and was attended by ITDC NU President Director A.A. Istri Ratna Dewi and TBIG Director Budianto Purwahjo, witnessed by ITDC Business Development Director Ema Widiastuti and TBIG Chief Product and Innovation Officer Gusandi Sjamsudin.
This partnership aims to integrate ICT services in The Nusa Dua area to enhance ICT service quality for businesses and realize The Nusa Dua's vision as a Smart Resort. Under this collaboration, ITDC NU and TBIG will establish neutral ICT infrastructure and services, including construction, installation, operation, maintenance, management, and leasing of neutral ICT infrastructure to telecommunications operators/providers/customers/end users/public in The Nusa Dua area.
The collaboration's commencement was marked by a groundbreaking ceremony for the neutral ICT infrastructure at the Common Area of The Nusa Dua. This infrastructure, managed jointly by ITDC NU and TBIG, will provide telecommunications, internet, telephone, TV, applications, and other services to telecommunication operators, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), tenants, and the public in The Nusa Dua area.

Neutral ICT infrastructure and services will complement other utilities managed by ITDC NU in The Nusa Dua area, such as wastewater treatment projects at the Nusa Dua lagoon, clean water and irrigation systems, gas management, solar power plants, and waste-to-energy initiatives.
