TBIG Achieves Top Performing Listed Companies by Investor Magazine

“Top Performing Listed Companies with a Capitalized Market above 10 billion, PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure,  Tbk,!" the MC exclaimed as Pak Herman Setya Budi as President Director of TBIG went up to claim the trophy and award that was presented by the Chief Commissioner of the Financial Service Authority (OJK), Muliaman D Hadad on May 2, 2013 evening in the Four Seasons Hotel, Jakarta.

The Head of the judging panel of the Investor Award 2013, Prof Roy Sembel Ph.D. said that the assessment is made based on how listed companies are able to implement a well-performing strategy this year through their performance in finance as well as having the ability to maintain this performance in the years to come. "A company should not only be brilliant in their financial performance but should also have a sustainable positive impact on the environment, the stakeholders as well as the investors," said Roy.

During the choosing of this year's best-listed companies, 50% of the grading was emphasized on good financial performance, both fundamentally and technically while polling scores and interviews were worth 25% each. The assessment of these listed companies had to fulfill three sustainability criteria: going concern which means the company will stay alive in the long term, business sustainability or continuation of the business as well as environmental sustainability and lively hood. The company should not forget that sustainability in life will impact the sustainability of their business and financials.

Herman Setya Budi as President Director of TBIG said that the principle of sustainability should not only fall under the social corporate responsibility (CSR) of the company but should also be done through social activities as well as how the company can gain profit through empowering the surrounding environment. "If a corporation is able to give a positive impact to those three elements, then there will automatically be an equally positive financial return towards the performance of the company.

Five listed companies are chosen as the Top Performing Listed Companies 2013 which is PT Alam Sutera Realty Tbk, PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk, PT Pakuwon Jati Tbk, PT Malindo Feedmill Tbk, PT Lippo Cikarang Tbk. The first three companies are winners from the big cap group while the last two are from the small cap group
