TBIG ActivatiON Officially Launched
JAKARTA, November 16, 2018 – PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure, Tbk., ("TBIG") launched TBIG ActivatiON, a follow-up program to the TBIG CreatiON competition, which activates and realizes the creative solutions of selected participants in the IoT and Application-based competition.
President Director of TBIG Herman Setya Budi said TBIG ActivatiON aims to provide support for the young generation of Indonesia to realize their creative solutions in answering community problems and capturing new opportunities, through a structured development process, to become a business-scale start-up.
"This program is a manifestation of the company's commitment to supporting the younger generation to have IT-based creative ideas. We will fully support this creative idea so that it can be realized and provide real benefits for the community," he said after the launch of the TBIG ActivatiON program in Jakarta, Friday (16/11).
TBIG ActivatiON has a duration of 12 (twelve) months. Where selected participants will get a Starter Package in the form of: Pre-seed funding, co-working space, cloud server, training and mentoring for start-up formation, as well as access to potential markets and networks.
TBIG Chief of Business Support Lie Si An said that this year's TBIG ActivatiON program is the first time it was carried out and launched in conjunction with the TBIG CreatiON 2018 Awarding Night event. In this inaugural launch, 2 (two) teams were selected, namely WAWI and TRADERS, who will undergo this program. Both were finalists of TBIG CreatiON last year.
"We congratulate the participants who have been selected in this first batch of TBIG ActivatiON. We really appreciate all participants who have participated in this entire series of programs," he said.
