TBIG CreatiON 2018 - Competition for the Young Generation, Indonesian Creative Generation

Successful in the implementation of its first TBIG CreatiON last year, PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure, Tbk. (TBIG) again held a competition to create creative solutions in the form of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Applications, to overcome various problems faced in the surrounding environment, as well as to improve services for the general public. As the name implies, namely CreatiON – which is short for Creative SolutiON, this event is a forum for the young generation of Indonesia, to realize their various superior ideas into a creative solution that is useful for the Indonesian people.

In this competition, TBIG expands the scope of participants who can participate in TBIG CreatiON 2018, namely by including students. This is in line with TBIG's commitment to pay great attention to the development and progress of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) in Indonesia. We realize that ICT will be a strategic asset for this nation in the future. By involving the young generation from an early age in the development of ICT-based creative solutions, this nation is expected to be better prepared to face various challenges in the era of digital transformation.

Carrying the theme "Unlocking Potential Value in Community Through Technology Adoption", various forms of Creative Solutions that can be submitted in this competition can be in the form of:
1. Mobile Application (Android or iOS based)
2. Desktop Application (Windows-based)
3. Web Application
4. Multimedia Application

Stages of TBIG Creation 2018 Implementation:
1. Registration and Collection of Application Proposals, June 25 – August 25, 2018
2. Application Proposal Selection, August 27 – September 4, 2018
3. Announcement of TBIG CreatiON 2018 Finalists, September 5, 2018
4. Prototype Making and Final Presentation Videos and Materials, September 6 – November 5, 2018
5. Final Presentation, 6 – 7 November 2018
6. Expo and Awarding Ceremony, November 8, 2018

Terms and Conditions for TBIG CreatiON 2018 Participants:
1. Students and Students are Active in Schools/Universities throughout Indonesia, and are between 16 - 30 years old.
2. This competition can be participated individually or in groups (maximum 3 people).
3. Fill out and submit the TBIG CreatiON 2018 Participant Registration Form completely and correctly. The Registration Form can be requested via e-mail tbig.creation@tower-bersama.com or can be downloaded here.
4. The proposed creative solution is original, does not infringe on any party's copyright/patent, has never won any competition, and has never been sponsored or participated in incubation from any party.
5. The proposed solution does not contain elements of violence, harassment of SARA, pornography, gambling, or contrary to the norms and laws applicable in Indonesia
6. The Creative Solution Proposal is submitted in PDF format, and at least consists of: Background of the problem raised, How the proposed solution can provide an answer to the problem raised, The impact of the solution on the progress of the ICT industry in Indonesia in general and TBIG's business in particular, and a Poster/Infographic that provides a general explanation/summary of the solution offered.
7. Proposals are sent by e-mail to tbig.creation@tower-bersama.com, with max size. 10 MB, along with a completed Registration Form.
8. One Proposal and Registration Form is only intended for one solution, by choosing one of the 13 categories of applications that are competitive. Participants are allowed to submit more than one proposal.
9. For Participants who qualify for the Final Round, they are required to make an Application Prototype, an Application Explanation Video with a maximum duration of 1.5 minutes, and Presentation Materials that will be presented to the Jury.
10. Participants are willing to submit the copyright of the solution they make if they are selected to become an application that will be further fostered and sponsored by TBIG. If the participant is unable to undertake the further development of the participant's application, then TBIG has the right to use the idea/work of the participant with a reasonable transfer mechanism of all rights.
11. This activity is free of charge in any form, both for participants and finalists. Beware of all forms of fraud on behalf of this program and TBIG.

13. The decision of the jury and the organizer of TBIG CreatiON is absolute and cannot be contested by any party.

1st Place: Rp. 30,000,000
2nd Place: Rp. 15,000,000
3rd Place: Rp. 10,000,000
Favorite Application : Rp. 5.000.000
Favorite Video : Rp. 5.000.000 
Meanwhile, for Finalists who have not had the opportunity to become Champions, they will be given a Coaching Incentive of Rp. 3,000,000.
