TBIG Deploys 10 Fleet of Clinic Cars in an Effort to Accelerate the Covid-19 Vaccination Rate in West Java
Jakarta, December 23, 2021 – PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk ("TBIG") is again carrying out Covid-19 vaccination activities in collaboration with the West Java Provincial Health Office, the collaboration activity which was carried out in the period November – December 2021 was carried out in an effort to succeed in accelerating the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination program. During this period, TBIG again dispatched 10 teams of health workers (equivalent to 120 health workers) to several locations in West Java Province.
In this Covid-19 vaccination activity, three cities in West Java are the destination areas, namely Garut City, Depok City and Cirebon City. With the participation of 10 health worker teams in this period, in total TBIG has sent assistance to 30 health worker teams in helping West Java Province run the vaccination program with a total of 2,506 beneficiaries.
Throughout 2021, TBIG has deployed health workers to eight districts/cities in four provinces to assist the government's efforts to provide Covid-19 vaccinations to the community. The Covid-19 vaccination activity that has been carried out is part of the Bangun Sehat Bersama initiative program which is one of the CSR Pillars of PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk in the health sector.
Chief of Business Support of PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk., Lie Si An explained that during 2021, TBIG alerted no less than 200 teams of health workers to be deployed to help the government run the Covid-19 vaccination program. "One health worker team consists of 10-12 personnel. Each team handles 150 vaccine recipients. During 2021, eight districts in four provinces have received health worker assistance from us," he added.
President Director of PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk, Herman Setya Budi revealed that the assistance of the health worker team from TBIG aims to help accelerate the Covid-19 vaccination program that is being carried out by the government. "We hope that our participation in the Covid-19 response can provide benefits to the wider community. We really support the efforts of the government and the community in overcoming the Covid-19 pandemic," he explained.
