TBIG Equips Banjarnegara's Young Generation with Telecommunications Industry Training
Banjarnegara, September 1, 2025 – PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) once again demonstrates its commitment to supporting vocational education in Indonesia through an on-site training program for vocational high school students. This time, the training took place at the Karangkemiri Site, Wanadadi District, Banjarnegara, involving 12 students from SMK Cokroaminoto Wanadadi.
This program is the fifth batch since TBIG's CSR was first launched, following its successful implementation in East Jakarta. To date, a total of 31 vocational students have gained firsthand experience in the telecommunications industry through this activity.
The two-hour training focused on tower maintenance, providing students with the opportunity to see and practice firsthand how telecommunications infrastructure is managed. This program is designed to address the industry's increasingly urgent need for skilled workers in the telecommunications sector.
Lie Si An, Chief of Business Support Officer at TBIG, stated, “We are very pleased to be able to provide direct training for vocational high school students. This is tangible evidence of TBIG's commitment to enhancing the competencies of the younger generation, ensuring they not only understand theory but are also prepared to handle real-world conditions in the field.”

Fahransa Ikbal, a student at SMK Cokroaminoto Wanadadi, said, “Thank you to TBIG for giving us the opportunity to see the equipment inside the tower firsthand. This experience has broadened our horizons beyond just learning theory.”

By holding the event in Banjarnegara, TBIG has expanded the reach of its vocational education CSR program from urban areas to rural areas, while also reaffirming the company's commitment to producing high-quality human resources who are ready to pursue careers in the national telecommunications industry.
