TBIG HELPS CREATE DIGITAL TALENT THROUGH CSR PROGRAM IN EDUCATION
Jakarta, 31 May 2023 - In commemoration of National Education Month, PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk ("TBIG") continues its commitment to improve the quality of public access in the education sector. TBIG carries out CSR initiatives in the field of education through the provision of an e-learning platform that can be accessed for free, anytime and anywhere through www.cerdasbersama.co.id website link.
Through the Learning Management System ("LMS"), TBIG provides free learning access to help Vocational High School ("SMK") students learn additional competencies needed in the world of work. Through the Superior Curriculum program, TBIG targets to provide material enrichment to 1,000 vocational students.
In addition to fostering vocational school students, TBIG also contributes to creating a learning organization ecosystem by collaborating with students majoring in cooperatives to be able to access educational materials related to the cooperative field through LMS. The establishment of the LMS for the Cooperative Learning Community aims to enrich cooperative materials, leadership and social influence, as well as analytical thinking and innovation to students online. In addition, TBIG also holds regular workshops to discuss issues that occur in the Cooperative.
TBIG also has another excellent program, namely by providing an e-learning platform for women micro entrepreneurs in the creative economy. The establishment of the LMS aims to provide entrepreneurship training, improve skills in the culinary business field and self-development materials to women fostered micro businesses online. TBIG through the CSR team collaborates with professional trainers in compiling learning materials for vocational school students, students majoring in cooperatives and micro business actors. Not only providing learning materials, the LMS is also equipped with a per-individual comprehension measurement feature. Each learning module is equipped with a pre-test, trainer explanation video, module material, post-test and certificate as a sign of having completed the training in the LMS.
