TBIG Shows Its Care at the End of 2025 by Distributing 2.5 Tons of Aid to Six Disaster-Affected Locations
Jakarta, January 3, 2026 – PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (“TBIG”) continues to demonstrate its commitment to humanitarian action by distributing marathon aid to flood and landslide victims in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra until the end of 2025.
After successfully reaching Solok and West Pasaman Regencies last week, by the last week of December 2025 TBIG had distributed aid to six disaster-affected locations. The total aid distributed reached 2.5 tons in the form of food and medicine.
TBIG's aid has been delivered and received by the affected communities in Paloh Gadeng Village, Dewantara Subdistrict, North Aceh Regency; Huta Godang Village, Batangtoru Subdistrict, South Tapanuli Regency; Sibuluan Nauli Village, Pandan District, Central Tapanuli Regency; Katiagan Hamlet, Kinali Village, West Pasaman Regency; Guci II Hamlet, Muaro Pingai Village, Junjung Sirih District, Solok Regency; and Kampung Tangah Timur Hamlet, Salareh Aia Timur Village, Palembayan District, Agam Regency.
Jorong Kampung Tangah Timur was the last location successfully reached on December 31, 2025. The distribution of aid to this area completed the distribution of 2.5 tons of food and medicine distributed by TBIG throughout December 2025.
TBIG Chief of Business Support Officer, Lie Si An, explained that TBIG will continue to deliver aid until January 2026. “There are still around 19 locations that are targeted for the next aid distribution. The TBIG volunteer team continues to work hard to reach the affected areas, even though some areas are still in poor condition,” he said.
He added that under certain conditions, TBIG has adjusted its aid distribution procedures. “Usually, we distribute aid after the physical condition of the location is deemed safe. However, this time we made an exception due to the urgency of the community's needs,” he explained.
Meanwhile, TBIG President Director Herman Setya Budi emphasized that TBIG has prepared aid packages that will be sent in stages through the TBIG disaster response volunteer team. "We have prepared a special team to handle post-disaster humanitarian aid for the affected communities. TBIG's presence is part of the company's commitment to providing moral and material support, while also working together with local governments and related agencies to accelerate the disaster response and recovery process," concluded Herman.
