TBiG Wins Bakesra 2014 Award

TBiG received an award for the participation of the TBIG Health Mobile in supporting the Bhakti Kesra Nusantara Expedition (Bhakesra Expedition) 2014, organized by the Ministry of People's Welfare Coordination. The TBIG Health Mobile served Indonesia's remote and outermost islands, including Buton Island, Obi Island (North Maluku), Waigeo Island, and Fam Island in Raja Ampat (West Papua).

The award was accepted by TBiG Corporate Communications Head, Wiyanna, on October 8, 2014, at Hotel Borobudur and was presented directly by the Coordinating Minister for People's Welfare, Agung Laksono. Several companies, both private and state-owned enterprises (BUMN), also received recognition for their contributions to the Bhakesra initiative.

Agung Laksono advised TBiG to continue its CSR programs in the health sector, whether through the Health Mobile or other initiatives, and to focus on Maternal and Child Health by supporting community health posts (Posyandu), as well as assisting health centers (Puskesmas) and hospitals in need of healthcare services.
