Technology-Based CSR of PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk
Jakarta, October 22, 2019 – PT. Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk, launched a technology-based CSR initiative to help communities in the program implementation area. Marking the implementation of technology-based CSR, TBIG launched two application platforms to improve the quality of health services run by the company and by first-level health facilities and an SME application platform focused on assisting the operations of the Bangun Bersama Cooperative, which is a cooperative fostered by TBIG.
On Friday, October 18, 2019, the two application platforms were introduced to the people of Pekalongan Regency. The application, named SI MONIK and COOPERATIVE, will be used on a limited basis by the community that is the target of the program in the program implementation area.
Chief of Business Support Officer PT. Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk, Lie Si An, explained that this technology-based CSR is aimed at providing solutions to people living in the program implementation location. "In the health sector, the problem is access and health information, including education about health. We designed this application to help the community and first-level health service providers at the sub-district level. Especially in matters related to education and health information issues." These two applications are only used on a limited basis in the company's CSR implementation area.
The implementation area chosen is Pekalongan Regency. "We chose this district because we have run a health check-up service program through the TBIG MOBILE CLINIC (MONIK TBIG) in collaboration with the PKK and GEMA SETIA (Community Movement to Stop Maternal and Child Deaths)," explained Lie Si An, adding that through the implementation of this application, the quality of TBIG's CSR program can be more measurable, making it easier to measure results and impacts for stakeholders.
In a separate place, the President Director of PT. Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk, Herman Setya Budi stated that the implementation of technology-based CSR is a TBIG innovation in the field of CSR to improve the governance of CSR programs so that the impact on the company and the social environment is more measurable.
