Together for Indonesia: TBIG Holds Social Service in 80 Villages in 3T Regions
Jakarta, August 6, 2025 – As a manifestation of its commitment to participate in government programs to address social issues in the territory of the Republic of Indonesia, PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) is holding a social service event to assist communities in 3T regions. The initiative will take place throughout August 2025 in 80 villages across the 3T regions, from Aceh to Papua. August marks the timing of this initiative to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Indonesia’s independence.
The initiative was officially launched on August 5, 2025, in the village of Cot Ba’u, Sukajaya sub-district, Sabang, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. The inaugural activity was conducted in the form of healthy lifestyle training and nutritious food assistance for 110 households in Cot Ba’u village.
Lie Si An, Chief of Business Support Officer at TBIG, explained that the Health Pillar program implemented by TBIG’s CSR is focused on improving public health awareness and quality, as well as environmental health. “We provide educational assistance on healthy lifestyles, healthy eating habits, and healthy sanitation practices, as well as nutritious food assistance for pregnant women and infants,” he explained, adding that such programs are conducted year-round in various regions across Indonesia. “By December, we will have conducted a total of 504 such activities in various regions across Indonesia. So, it’s not just in August,” he added.
Meanwhile, Herman Setya Budi, President Director of TBIG added: "We pay special attention to the communities living around our operational areas. This concern is manifested through our commitment to sustainable CSR programs encompassing health, education, culture, and the environment.
“For health-related CSR alone this year, we aim to benefit 221,760 individuals across various regions in Indonesia. There are also beneficiaries from our CSR programs in education, culture, and the environment,” explained Herman.
Herman also added that TBIG bases its CSR activities on ESG principles and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). TBIG also uses ISO 26000 as a guide for its CSR implementation.
