Tower Bersama Continues Construction of Vocational High School

Jakarta, 31 October 2018 - PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk ("TBIG") continues the coaching program for Vocational High School students who are members of the TBIG 2017-2018 Superior Curriculum program, which is an additional curriculum insertion program into the standard curriculum used to increase job opportunities for alumni of vocational school students in Indonesia.   The follow-up to the implementation of the teaching and learning program carried out in the 2017-2018 school year is to distribute alumni of the TBIG Superior Curriculum program to the world of work.

As the first step in distributing vocational school students to the world of work, PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk, signed an MoU on the alumni internship program of the TBIG Superior Curriculum program with its partners.  Chief of Business Support Officer, Lie Si An said that this internship program is the first step to provide job opportunities to alumni of the TBIG Superior Curriculum program and is aimed at providing opportunities for partners to assess the quality of program participants. "So if there is a recruitment process after this internship program, TBIG partners will get quality human resources that meet the quality standards and needs of partners," he explained. He also explained that this internship program is not a graduation requirement, because the participants are alumni of vocational schools participating in the TBIG Superior Curriculum program who have not yet worked.

In a separate place, the President Director of PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk said that the implementation of the TBIG Superior Curriculum is a manifestation of the company's concern for the progress of the world of education in Indonesia. "In carrying out CSR initiatives, we place people as the central point of the program.  In this field of education, we emphasize improving the quality of human resources and job opportunities for children who participate in our coaching program," he explained.

Currently, there are three partners who have signed the MoU and are willing to accommodate alumni of the TBIG Superior Curriculum program, they are PT. Thanks to Bersama Teknik Group (BBT), PT Nayaka Pratama and PT Dwipari Selaras (DPS).

The signing ceremony was held at the Head Office of PT Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk in Jakarta and was attended by Lie SI An, Chief of Business Support Officer, Andrian Eka Putra (Nayaka), Riswanda Ginting (BBT) and Johan Yuda Wicaksana (DPS).
