PT. Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk (TBIG) is the only independent tower provider to win the Indonesia Human Capital Study 2015 award. TBIG won awards in five categories, placing the company at the top of the Infrastructure Sector category. Meanwhile, PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia Tbk and PT Federal International Finance (FIF) were recognized as the best in the Telecommunications and Information Sector and the Financial Sector, respectively.

The assessment was based on the results of a study on human capital management conducted by Dunamis Human Capital and BusinessNews Indonesia Magazine, supported by PMSM Indonesia (Indonesian Human Resource Management Association), SBM ITB (School of Business and Management ITB), Prasetiya Mulya Business School, and the IPB Business School. A total of 64 companies from various business sectors participated in this study.

TBIG received awards in the following categories: Best CEO Commitment on Human Capital Development, Best All Human Capital Criteria, Best Human Capital Initiatives (Best of Human Capital Initiative on Performance Management System), Best Employee Net Promoter Score (NPS), and Best Human Capital Index.

The President Director of PT. Tower Bersama Infrastructure Tbk, Herman Setya Budi, attended the award ceremony held at the Ritz-Carlton Mega Kuningan Ballroom in Jakarta on Thursday (22/10/2015). After receiving the award for Best CEO Commitment on Human Capital, Herman Setya Budi stated that human capital development is something that cannot be avoided. “Our operational reach is quite massive with a very wide coverage area. We must have good human capital. And this can only happen if human capital management is also well-managed. We have been allocating resources for quite some time to develop effective human capital management,” he explained.

Learning Benchmark
Meanwhile, Chief of Human Capital Management System at Dunamis Human Capital, Muhammad Hamdani, explained that the IHCS (Indonesia Human Capital Study) is a platform for exchanging information and benchmarking among Human Capital practitioners, especially in today’s knowledge and information era. "Therefore, we consider it important to conduct this study regularly every year and invite other organizations to participate so that Human Capital practitioners in Indonesia can stay updated with the trends in Human Capital management and make it easier for CEOs to make decisions based on proposals for Human Capital development in their organizations," said Hamdani.

The results of the IHCS study are expected to serve as a benchmark for the approach, process, and outcomes of implementing Human Capital Systems in organizations in Indonesia, so that the learning and transformation processes can move more swiftly in the direction desired by business organizations.
